I know I've commented on this before, but I've just re-read it and remembered exactly why I love it.
The thing that holds interest for me in Louis and Lestat -- above all the other pairings -- is the sheer force of hatred and misunderstanding is only tempered by the love. It's so interesting and I love that, in this fic, Lestat lets rip.
Louis isn't perfect. He *is* puritanical and passive and constantly runs counter to Lestat's wishes. And yet, there is that love and attraction there. I love how it's laid out in this fic. Fantastic stuff.
