The stories you will find here have been collected over the past fifteen years. A special thanks goes out to Black Rose for originally compiling them and to Mevinan for keeping them safe for so long. Thank you as well, to those who have helped with editing and formatting. The original archive is not here in its entirety yet, but more fics will be added in the future.

New/Old Fics
If you see some new/old fics going up over the coming weeks, we've enlisted the help of a couple of our wonderful members/authors in summarizing, rating and reformatting more of the old fics so they can be moved over to the new site. So, some of the stories that will be listed as "new" in the recent section may be old favorites!Thank you to those who are assisting us with this massive task!

Forum Delay
An unexpected issue has delayed the development of the forum, but it has not been forgotten. The graphics and layouts are complete, but the forum set up and database still need work before it can be opened to the authors. This is a massive project which we can only work on in our free time and there hasn't been much of that available recently. Forum Coming Soon
Looks like the forum is a go! Thank you to those who added their thoughts and suggestions on Livejournal. Please feel free to continue posting your ideas in the comments over there or here.The software has already been installed and styles to match the rest of the site have been created, but there's still a bit of work to do before we can open it up. We're going to attempt to have all of the Forbidden Archive user accounts copied so that your current names and passwords will work on the forum the same way that they do on the rest of the site.
Hopefully we'll have this ready to go fairly soon! Updates will be posted here and on Livejournal.
