Damnit, this is just such. a good. spec. Seriously, I have to come back and re-read it every once in awhile because it's just so beautiful, and so painful, and does everything to the end of that awful P.O.S. book that I needed.

What a poignant, sad story. I never read Merrick myself, though I know pretty much what happened..I say now that I wish that you had written it becaus eI see such a depth of knowledge and feeling for the characters in what I read here.
