Louis paced, looking at his watch every few moments. David was becoming very annoyed. He kept glaring at Louis over his paper, but Louis hardly noticed. Finally, he dropped the paper on the couch, got up, walked over and firmly planted a hand on each of Louis's shoulders. "Stop," he said in a flat voice."But he said he's be here!" Louis whined. "I don't care if Satan himself told you he'd be here, stop that goddam pacing!" Louis nodded, looking defeated, and walked over to sit in his favorite chair. David had picked up his paper and sat down again when the tapping started. He looked over his paper at Louis, who was tapping his foot impatiently.
"Oh, for the love of God!" David shouted. "Will you stop?"
Louis was surprised to say the least. "What? Stop what?" he asked innocently. David rolled his eyes angrily. "You're tapping!" he said. "You and your habits, Louis..." "My habits?" Louis asked. "What about yours?" David looked at him incredulously over his paper. "What habits?" he asked. "Um, lesse..." Louis started. "Take your paper there. Whenever I want to look at it, it's usually hidden in your room, or clipped to pieces for your silly scrapbooks, and when it's actually in good shape and where I can find it, it's all out of order!"
David rolled his eyes, dropping the paper to his lap. "And what about you and your constant cutting of your hair?" he asked. "You fill bags and bags with the hair you cut off every night and usually half of it ends up covering the bathroom floor."
"Speaking of hair," Louis picked up, "is it you who constantly leaves the shampoo bottle open and lets it get water in it?" "I thought it was you," said David quietly. "Well, that only leaves one person," said Louis. "The Brat Prince," David finished. "More like the Prince of Bad Habits, if you ask me," he said under his breath.
As if on cue, Lestat walked through the door at that very moment. Taking off his coat, he dropped it on the floor and continued down the hall with muddy shoes still in place and Mojo trotting ahead, soaking wet. Promptly after entering the parlor, Mojo shook himself off all over everything while Lestat plopped down on the couch next to David, kicking his shoes off in whatever direction they went. Grabbing the remote, he switched the television on to Comedy Central at full blast.
Finally noticing Louis and David's stares, he innocently asked, "What?" David and Louis looked at each other, then said in perfect synchronization, "Too easy."
End.
