Lestat and Louis get Married Part 4- posts 91-120 _______________________________________________________________ POST 91: (Telepaths to Louis) :Louis? I was almost asleep. Oh, don't worry. I'll nod off in a minute... :Armand IS acting a little weird. He and Gabrielle are going at it tooth and nail! I can see the steam coming out of her ears! :Louis? um... I don't know how to quite put this... but I think Armand is flirting with me! We started out kind of nasty toward each other. Then I got a "be nice" brain wave from Maharet, so I changed my tune a little. He can be very mysterious, can't he? (laughs) :Well, I could use a little diversion. Mael is dumb as an ox, and all Erik thinks about is clothes. And Santino... no... didn't work out. I think I'll just be foot loose and fancy free! :As for Lestat, oh, he can let that temper fly, can't he. I can see who he got it from, after hanging around with Gabby. :Oh, Louis? Do you want to go out with Gabby and Me? Pandy, too. We could have a VERY good time! (yawns) see you soon, mon cher. Sweetest dreams! ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 92: :Your temper has unbalanced you, as seems ever to be the case with the de Lioncourt family. I'm sure your maternal instincts at one time did you credit (I can not find a single instance of this in any of Lestat's books, but I'm sure he simply neglected to comment upon your more tender moments of motherly concern) but now they simply render you ridiculous: ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 93: :Sleep well, little one. Dream of me...: ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 94: My dear mother! Such ideas you have! Ahh... you know me all too well. Don't mind Armand... once he gets with Daniel he'll be just fine and quite distracted! Horny little imp that he is... Yes, I should think something quite flashy will suit me just fine. And for you? Hmmmm... how to gain Marius' favor... hmmmm... I should think one of those little, tight dresses so many of the young women wear these days would be quite a sight on you, my beloved. One of those velvet ones with little straps -- hmmm... red, I think should be your color! Yes! Red! Oh, please find a red dress! How I'd love for you to walk me down the aisle in raving, blood red! Ah, Louis... blue, hmmm... perhaps Jesse or David could wear blue. Mother -- he still can't decide who to give him away -- Jesse or David... what do you think? You and Jesse be careful in NYC and don't stay up dancing too long and avoid the blood of most of those disco-goers. Too much cocaine and XTC you know. Gives quite a strange sensation, but I'd really rather you not! Ah... can't wait for you to see me and my Louis together He's still busy looking for poetry to read at the ceremony though this Plato he's reading, well... it's giving him some rather strange ideas! So beautiful... Louis, that is . Oh, but you, mother, as well! Who else can I compliment for giving me such good looks? Pardon me, mother, Louis and I have some... things... to attend to! your lusty son, Lestat ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 95: ::Marius! ::Thank God we finally hear from you! We were wondering if we'd have to dig you up somewhere though Louis said you were staying at the hotel right here in New Orleans! ::Well! Come here this instant! We need your assistance desperately! Yes, we want you to officiate. Your are our unspoken mentor, you know! ::What's come over me? I'm in love with my Louis, what else is new? I finally figured if I really wanted to keep him, well, making another child was just out of the question. What else was there to do? ::Do you think you can put the part about 'til death do us part' in the ceremony? I think that would be a riot! ::Lovingly, ::Lestat:: ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 96: Ah... my beautiful baby... I think a little ambiance is in order, hmmm? Ahhh... Louis Don't you just love French composers? Mmmmmmmmmm....... touch me there, Louis... oh yes! That's the spot! Slowly, mon cher... ahhhhhhhh...... Pardon the dog, Louis... will just have to change his diet... ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 97: ::Lestat, you are the damndest creature! Every time I think I have you figured out I turn around and you do something so completely out of character that it boggles the mind! ::I'm happy for you, of course. Just a little concerned. This all seems a bit rushed. Still, I'll be pleased to conduct the ceremony for you... "Till death do you part"? Oh, Lestat, your sense of humor hasn't changed at all has it? (Exasperated sigh) I'll see what I can do... it's not as though I've ever been married myself, you know, nor am I a priest, so I can't claim to be an expert in holy vows...:: ::Marius ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 98: ::Louis, my silent one... what's going on behind those emerald eyes? Are you happy with all of this? My congratulations to you, of course, and I truly wish you and Lestat the best in this undertaking. Our resident Brat Prince has his own ideas about the ceremony, but I thought I might ask you what you would like. After all, you're only going to be able to do this once, and forever is a VERY long time...:: ::Marius ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 99: My dearest Amadeo... will you PLEASE tear yourself away from your newsgroups and come answer your e-mail? I have little other means to get ahold of you, ragazzo. Obviously, you've heard the news. I doubt there's anyone in the coven who HASN'T heard it... And I'm sure the Brat Prince would publish it in all of the papers world wide, on the front page, if Louis would allow him to. What are your feelings on this, caro? It all seems rather sudden to me, and completely unexpected. Give my regards to your Daniel, my lovely one, and know that my thoughts go with you always. Marius ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 100: (telepaths) ::Gabrielle! It's wonderful to hear from you. And you're radiantly beautiful, as always. I'm afraid you'll look more like Lestat's younger sister then his mother when you walk him down that aisle. I'll be looking forward to seeing you again.:: ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 101: Monsieur de Charis, Erik, it is wonderful to hear from you again. How pleasant that this joyous occasion gives us all a chance to see each other! Would you like to meet, perhaps, and talk before the ceremony? I'm here in New Orleans, staying at the Pontchartrain, room 428. Please contact me here to arrange a time. yours always, Marius ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 102: Marius to David Out of Character--- Taking my cues from the spec "No Words at All"... (Sitting back on the bed in the plushest room of the Pon, trying very hard to NOT think about what happened last time he was here...) (telepaths) ::David? Lestat said you were coming to the wedding, of course. I'll be very... ah... HAPPY to see you there, yes, that's the word, HAPPY. And, of course, if you'd care to come by any other time, perhaps, just to... um... TALK... ::I'm staying at the Pon again. I made sure to get a room with a view, just like last time... you said you liked the view, didn't you? Or were you referring to... AHEM! Never mind... (getting a bit distracted and pulling open the first few buttons of his shirt to fan himself) ::ANY WAY, I just thought I might invite you over to visit. You know, David, you'd like this room... there's a very large BED. And one of those couches- though I think the management is still a bit miffed about last time, we'll have to be gentler with the furniture now, and I promise not to ruin your coat this time... of course, you could just wear something easier to get you out of, you know... Oh, excuse me, I'm getting distracted. What was I saying? VISITING! Yes, please do come over and visit, David, I'm quite looking forward to being- SPEAKING! I meant speaking- with you again...:: ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 103: Lestat to Marius Ah Marius! Tomorrow night we shall meet and figure it all out. I'm getting rather sleepy... Louis has completely worn me out! I've always been grateful to you for taking care of my sugarplumb while Akasha had me in her hot little grips. But that was then... as they say. I trust you completely to come up with the proper words and all that goes with such a ceremony. What do I know? Louis and I, of course, will write our own vows but you are the most official of us all, really, being the former right hand man of the King and Queen. You're royalty! Can't wait to see you tomorrow! Pleasant... dreamzzzzzzzzzz.... ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 104: David to Marius Marius ! (breathless pause as David composes himself) It's so good to hear from you! I, er, well, after you left the Pontchartrain so suddenly last time, I was a little worried that you hadn't enjoyed your visit. You want to see me.....again? (flushes) Yes, yes, of course, I'd be delighted to see _you_ again. I had heard you were entertaining some friend of Louis and Lestat's - Erik? Is he really the Phantom? I'm leaving for New Orleans tonight. In fact, perhaps you could book me a room at the Pon? Although maybe I should be at Rue Royale? It's just that Gabrielle and Jesse seem to have gone into major planning mode - lists and boxes all over the place and a chap would be rather in the way! Yes, I definitely think I'd just be a nuisance at the flat, and well we could _talk_ much more easily if we had adjacent suites? (Thinking back to how embarrassing it was leaving the Pon dishevelled and in ripped clothing...) Yes, that would definitely be more convenient. But isn't it wonderful news about our dear friends? I am so happy for them! I wonder if Louis will succeed in making "an honest man" of Lestat at last ? See you this evening...... David ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 105: Monsieur Armand: I would be delighted to meet you. I am in New Orleans for a time, so I propose that we meet in the House Of Blues nightclub, which is not far from my hotel...perhaps this evening, at seven? Ask the hostess to direct you to my table. I look forward to our meeting, Monsieur. Erik ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 106: Erik to Marius Ah, my glorious Maker! I would indeed welcome the chance...it seems my little foray into the coven is turning into a sort of reunion...Louis, Lestat and I are meeting at the House of Blues here in N.O. on Saturday night, around eight... would that be suitable? I so look forward to seeing you again! With affection (Mon Pere!) Erik ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 107: My dear Louis: I too look forward to our meeting... tomorrow night, then? Erik ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 108: Dear Monsieur de Charis, I understand you are an old friend of our dear Louis and Lestat, and will be attending their forthcoming nuptials. As they'll be somewhat busy, I'd be delighted to act as your host during your stay, although I myself will be staying with Marius at the Ponchartrain, I understand that you have already met Marius? Please contact me if I can be of service, I look forward to meeting you. Regards, David Talbot ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 109: Louis to David Why nothing, mon ami, I did not call you. Everything is wonderful, Im on cloud nine! Its lovely to hear from you, but whats going on? Please contact me again with the details, my friend. I smell a rat. Louis ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 110: Telepaths Jesse: Jesse dear, I'm flying over in a few hours. Anything, I should get here in Britain for the wedding ? I was wondering about the old rhyme: "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" have you got that covered ? Yes I know Lestat is blue-rated! That wasn't quite what I had in mind....Anyway, get back to me quickly if you need anything purchasing... See you soon, David ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 111: Lestat, I was pleased and surprised to receive your letter. It seems that everyone around here is totally ignoring me. (including my master and lover, Armand). I drank from a dead body the other night, and I was quite sick. I thought sickness and pain couldn't touch any of us. I was wrong. Pain is more intense in this body than it ever was when I was a mortal. I'm now fully recovered, and ready to help with the wedding preparations. As for upseting Louis...Well, anything can upset your whiner companion, but I don't mind. I still love him, always have. From the first time I saw him in that filthy room in Divisadero street, I knew I loved him. Taking pictures at your wedding? Why, I would love to! I'm an excellent photographer. (as I'm excellent in anything I do. Ask Armand!) Yes, I should definitely capture your happy moments with Louis. So you liked Madonna, huh? Perhaps we should pay her a visit before you tie the knot, huh? Yours always, Daniel Molloy ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 112: (Jesse telepaths to Louis and Lestat) (Stuffing the last article of clothing into her LARGE duffle bag) :Lestat! Louis! My darlings! Gabby and I are almost ready to leave! We'll be there in a few hours! I just thought I'd warn you two so we don't (blush) walk in on anything! We'll give you a yell as soon as we are near. (putting on a touch of lipstick) :Mekare keeps sending me brain waves from Maharet...(you know how twins are, always acting together on things)... I've come to consider them straight from my Maker! Anyway... They send their best and hope to be there soon. :Lestat, I've also been chastised for being snotty towards an elder, so I will be on my best behavior. I know you can get away with it, but I'm 205 years younger than you! :Oh, I've booked myself into the Pontchartrain Hotel, Suite 431. I know Gabby will be staying with you and the flat will be jammed. It's close enough to you, and besides... I've always wanted to stay there! It's even got a jacuzi in my suite! :Looks like Gabby's ready! :See you soon! : ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 113: Jesse to Gabriel (Jesse goes into the guest room and shakes Gabriel) :Gabby! Come on and wake up!!! (pulls her out of bed and pushes her down the hall to the bathroom) :Get in that shower and open those baby blues! I thought you were an early riser!! (Shoves sleepy Gabby into the bathroom, closes the door and leans on it.) (Sounds of Gabby starting to shower) :Get a move on! We haven't got all night! I'm all packed and ready to go! (plays with a lock of her hair and stares into space) :Gabby? I had the strangest dream about Armand during the day... (Sounds of spluttering and fuming from Gabby as she offers her opinions on Armand) :Yeah, I know... but it was so wierd... and I can't remember what it was about. All I remember is he was in it.: (to herself) 'Geeze... should I tell her I'm a little intrigued by him?' :Gabby? If you're gonna wash all that hair, you'll have to air-dry it on the way to New Orleans... I don't think my dryer would take both our manes in one night... the plastic's still a little soft from when I used it!: ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 114: (Jesse telepaths David) (Waking up and stretching) :David...my fellow former Talamascan... how are you? :I take it you will be in New Orleans for the festivities? :Can't wait to see you again! Who would have thought when we were down in those vaults so long ago studying all those vampire records, that we'd all end up like this? (Smiles) And you got a new look out of it as well! :See you soon! ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 115: Dear Marius, Hey, man! What's up? (trying to teach Marius 20th century, everyday language) I hear you're coming to Lestat's and Louis' wedding. I can't wait to see you! And you're also bringing Casper with you, right? I mean, the Opera Ghost, what's his name? Lestat asked me to take pictures for the wedding. Oh, I will have so much fun! Perhaps I could get Jesse and Gabrielle to pose in bikini for me and we could add the pictures to the gift I'll be giving to Lestat! I might be interviewing the Opera Ghost, and I'll make a nice package for Lestat and Louis. Just picture: Interview with the Phantom, and nice bikini girls! What do you think, huh? I probably shouldn't be saying this, but I trust you'll keep the secret...Lestat has a little crush on Madonna, and we might pay her a visit before the wedding. Wanna come? And old, 'chap'(like David calls you,) should have some fun once in a while. Well, I think this letter is getting too long. I shall now go and look for your Amadeo. Perhaps he'll hunt with me tonight! Love, Daniel ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 116: Louis, Ah, the beautiful one... It's okay. I know you are a bit shy when it comes to your personal affairs, and I take it your relationship with Erik is rather PERSONAL . In the other hand, I can always rely on Lestat to fill me in the details... Uh, I mean, he tells me things, like people you meet, and well, things... You're laid back in horizontal? Mmmm...so maybe I should come and well, TALK to you. I wonder if Lestat would mind...better not find out, huh? Love you, Daniel ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 117: Ah, Louis... I hope you don't mind my reading your mail again, but I couldn't help it... So you are meeting Erik tomorrow night? Can I come? I want to interview him and this would be a great opportunity for me! I could do a double-take! There quite a few questions left unanswered when we first met, and I would like to continue... So where are you and Erik meeting? Love, Daniel ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 118: Hey, Boss! How come you didn't tell me that you had a date with Erik? Sheesh, everyone here is acting behind my back. I'm the last one to hear the news on everything. Well, now that you are back, could I accompany you to your meeting with this Monsieur? Yours eternally, Daniel ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 119: My Dear Monsieur Talbot: First, let me say that it is my priviledge to make your acquantence; Marius has told me much about you. He thinks very highly of you. I, too, am staying in New Orleans and would very much like to meet you. I am meeting with Louis, Lestat, and some other of their friends at the nightclub called House of Blues on Saturday night, around eight o'clock in the evening. (I regret that I am not able to go about during the day) It would please me enormously if you would accompany us, as I am eager to meet this paragon of whom my Maker speaks so highly. If that is equitable to you, please respond in kind. Yours truly, Erik, Marquis de Charis Phantom of the Opera ---------------------------------------------------------------- POST 120: Armand, I don't know how to start this letter, but I must get the pain out of my chest. I caught a telepathic conversation between Louis and Jesse last night, and it seems that you have been flirting with the Talamascan! Why, Armand? First you disappear and let me in the house for a few nights, then you make a date with Casper without even telling me, and now you flirt with the flat chested Talamascan. We have to talk. Daniel ----------------------------------------------------------------
