Summary: Benji and Sybelle witness something unusual. Benji's POV. One Shot.
He was laughing. Armand was laughing. I had never heard anything like that before in my life. It was an angelic, so beautiful sound it\'d hurt. I flinched to every little giggle he'd let out, I felt so guilty. It was like I shouldn't have been hearing it, like it was a gift too big for me, a pleasure I didn't deserve. But it seemed he didn't care or didn't even notice, he just keept shaking with muffled laughter, his eyes closed tight trying too hold back crimson red tears. I tried to look away, but the sight of Sybelle, sitting right next to me, was just as disturbing: her glazed eyes fixated on him, her mouth slightly open, she seemed hypnotized. And I could still hear that song-like laughter tingling in my ears. I couldn't take it anymore. Not the sound, but the question in my head; Why didn't he ever laugh with us? Why was it only with him that he could produce such wonderful music?
"Armand."
It was just a whisper, but he immediately looked my way. It was sudden and he looked maybe surprised, like he had just remembered I was there. Sybelle also turned to watch me, but she did it slowly, reclutantly taking her eyes off him to find out what was so important as to interrupt that marvelous moment. I swallowed.
"Armand," I crossed my arms trying to look bigger in my ridicously tiny body. "How come we've never heard you laugh like that before?"
His flushed cheeks lost a little of their colour when he heard the question. He opened his mouth to answer but no words came out. Then I heard another laugh, a child-like one, one that I had been hearing maybe too often lately and I never liked. I looked at the blond and saw a devilish grin on his face.
"It's me Benjamin." said Daniel putting a possessive arm around Armand's shoulders. "I'm hilarious."
