********************************************************************

He was sitting at the table in the corner, surrounded by three other men who
were all well dressed, in Brook's Bros and Armani suits, their hair short
and neat and clean shaven faces.  He was your typical film executive.
Perfectly manicured nails, bright blue eyes, perhaps a little too bright and
a constant sniff.  Caused no doubt by all the coke he snorted.

Lestat watched him from across the room, luxuriated in his scent and thought
about the kill.  This one would be delicious.  His blood would be tainted
with greed, cunning and money.  Rich people always tasted so good.

Lestat held his cocktail delicately in one hand, as he smiled his
effervescent smile at the young woman who had sidled up next to him.  He
only gave her a cursory glance, then went back to studying his prey.

His name was Edward Harris, one of the highest paid producers in the
business.  As he turned side on to Lestat, he could see his slightly hooked
nose, his small ear with the tiny silver earing in its lobe, and the love
bite on his neck.  Well he was going to give him a much better one than
that, but not for a while yet.  He needed to play with him, needed to
persuade him into seeing things *his* way first.

Lestat gave the young woman next to him a 'come to bed smile', leaving her
swooning on the bar stool, then stood up and sauntered over to Edward.  He
sat down next to him, enjoying the startled look on his face as he did so.
Lestat warned the others off, sending them scurrying with sudden emergencies
or other business meetings.  Edward scowled at him.

"And who do you think you are?" he snapped at him.

"Peter French, at your service." Lestat smiled at him, extending his hand
and waiting for the reaction.

"Never heard of you.  Now will you please leave my table before I call
security."

Lestat lowered his proffered hand.

"I think that would be most unwise, Edward." Lestat argued.

"Oh really, and why is that?" Edward replied sarcastically.

"Because I have something to offer you." Lestat answered, smiling at him
now, noticing the tension in
Edward's shoulders and the slight uplifting of his perfectly shaped eye
brows.

"Keep talking Mr. French.  I will give you two minutes to tell me what you
have to offer."

"Peter...call me Peter, please, Edward.  I may call you Edward?"

"Yes, yes...now what is it you are offering me?"

"Money, Edward.  Lots of money.  I hear you are about to embark on a new
movie.  Am I right?"

"You want to invest in my new movie, Peter?"

"Not invest, Edward.  I want to pay for the entire thing."

"Oh, and what do I have to give you in return for this generous offer?"

"Complete autonomy in the script, casting, choice of directors.   That's
all." Lestat said, his smile broadening even more.

"WHAT!" Shouted Edward.  "And what makes you think I would be willing to
hand the whole thing over to you?"

"Would this be a good enough reason?" Lestat whispered to him, handing him
an envelope.  He watched as Edward tore it open and with shaking hands read
the amount written on the cheque enclosed therein.

Edward's face lit up.  "Well, Peter.  I do believe this might just convince
me."

......................

Louis was watching an 'Art House' movie, called "The Red Violin" when Lestat
came bursting into their apartment.  He was singing at the top of his voice
and pulled Louis up off the couch and swung him around.

Flicking off the T.V. with his mind, he then proceeded to kiss Louis
passionately on the lips, bringing his hand down to his firm buttocks and
giving them a squeeze.

'Lestat, for God sake, stop it.  I was watching that movie."  Louis snarled
at him, pushing his roving hands away and picking up the remote to turn the
T.V. back on.

"Oh, Louis.  Don't you want to know what I have been up to?" Lestat sulked,
slumping down on the couch next to him and grabbing his knee.

"After this movie is over.  It's beautiful, but complicated and I need to
concentrate on it.  Besides, I am not sure that I want to know what you have
been up to."

"You do, Louis.  I promise that you do want to know.  I met this interesting
man tonight.  His name is Edward Harris."

"Not another mortal, Lestat.  What are you going to do with this one?  Let
me think.  Seduce him for his money or his house, his art collection...no
let me guess.  His beautiful daughter.  Then you are going to kill him, with
style of course, then ....."

Lestat put his fingers to Louis' lips.  "Ssshhhhh!  No.  I am not going to
seduce the man.  He's not even my type."

Louis laughed.  "Since when is anyone not your type?"

"Louis, you hurt me to the quick." Lestat wailed, pressing his hand to his
heart and pretending to faint.

"Oh, shut-up, Lestat.  I am watching this movie first, then you can tell me
all about your latest adventure."

"Promise!"

"I promise."

2:

Louis settled back to watch the movie hearing Lestat banging the door loudly
and exiting the apartment.  He sighed in exasperation, then smiled.  Peace
at last he thought to himself, and spent the next hour enjoying his movie.

He never really gave Lestat's latest adventure another thought until Daniel
and Armand came bustling in the next evening saying that Lestat had invited
them both over for a very important meeting.

"What does he want to see us about, Louis?" Armand questioned.

"I have no idea.  He hasn't told me anything."

"Well he was most excited about whatever it is, over the phone." answered
Armand, waving his hands about.  "Where is he anyway?"

"I have no idea." Louis answered again, looking slightly bemused.  Lestat
was up to something, and he shuddered at the thought.

There was another knock at the door, and this time Marius and Jesse were
there.  "Don't tell me."  Louis said to them as he ushered them into the
living room.  'Lestat invited you over for an important meeting, right?"

"Right!" said Jesse, giving Louis a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Where is he?" Marius asked.

"I have no idea!" Louis, along with Daniel and Armand answered in unison.
They all smiled at each other and snickered.

"Well, I could offer you all something to drink, but as I didn't realise you
were coming over I never got anyone in." Louis said, with a deadpan
expression on his face.

Daniel guffawed at his little joke, Jesse kissed him again, while Marius and
Armand just looked at each other in confusion.

"It's all right, I was just having a joke." Louis replied, and picked up the
telephone to ring his wayward maker.

"Lestat, where are you?' he mumbled over the phone.  "Everyone seems to be
here and waiting...are you going to be long?"

"I'm just outside the door, Louis.  Patience please."  Louis sighed and went
to open the door for Lestat, who flounced in, carrying a heavy satchel.  He
set it down on the floor, pulled out several folders and began handing them
out to everyone present.

"Sit down, sit down, everyone.  I want you to read these scripts.  I just
had them typed up."

"Scripts? What are you talking about, Lestat?" Louis said impatiently.

"We are going into the movie business, my dear friends, and you are all
going to be the stars."  Lestat's smile spread across his face as he saw the
surprised expressions on everyone else's.

"Lestat!  My God, what have you done now?" Louis snarled at him, grabbing
the script and flicking through it quickly.  He read a few of the lines,
then when it dawned on him what the script was about he stared at Lestat in
disbelief.

"This is from your book isn't it?  But this never happened." Louis said,
with an embarrassed flush creeping up his neck.

"What part might that be?' Lestat said to him with a wicked grin.

"Never mind." Louis replied, shutting the folder up quickly and dropping it
down on the table.

Daniel and Armand were desperately trying to discover which scene Louis was
talking about, turning the pages over as fast as they could.

"Leave it you two." Louis berated them.  "I'm not going to be in this stupid
movie, and I am especially not going to do *that* scene." And with that he
stormed out of the room.

"What, scene, what scene?" Daniel questioned.

"Page 42." Lestat answered with his smile broadening, then he watched in
amusement as Daniel and Armand read it.

"I'm not surprised he doesn't want to be in this movie, Lestat.  Louis would
never do that." Armand said, digging Daniel in the ribs as he did.

"Don't worry, Armand.  I'll talk him into it." Lestat sneered.

3:

The waiting room was brash and anything but subtle.  Edward probably thought
it was elegant, but Lestat thought it was crass and in terrible taste.
Everything was embossed in gold, right down to the tacky ornaments on the
ornate coffee table.  The curtains were heavy brocade, the furniture dark
and heavy, very poor antique reproductions and the carpet.  My God, Lestat
thought to himself.  Someone could throw up on it and you wouldn't even
notice.

The Receptionist was something else again.  Bleached blonde hair, not
natural like himself, too much make up, cheap jewellery and those breasts
had to be mostly silicone.  Lestat shuddered.  Money certainly couldn't buy
taste.

He glanced at the magazines on the table..."Ralph", "Cosmopolitan", "Harley
Davidson World."  Now that one he could relate to.  He was just reading
about the latest accessories when the blonde bimbo told him that Mr. Harris
would see him.

"We can't go with this script, Peter." He said.  "It's bordering on
pornographic."

"Rubbish!" Lestat snarled.  "It's what the public wants.  Believe me,
Edward."

"It will never get past the censors without an X rating, then we will be
cutting down our audience so much."

"I'll get it past the censors, don't you worry about that.  I have the cast
assembled downstairs.  Would you care to come and meet them?" Lestat asked
him, politely.

"You can't have the cast chosen already?" Edward replied.  "It usually takes
weeks of auditions."

"Oh the cast will be perfect, don't you worry.  I have even taken the
liberty of setting up the studio, with cameras and crew, etc.  Are you
coming?"

Edward looked amazed and was fussing with his already immaculate hair as he
followed Lestat through the maze of passages, down the lift and into the
huge studio.   The lights were blazing, camera crews were buzzing about and
a small group of actors were huddled in the centre.   Edward sat down in his
chair and surveyed them.

"I'll introduce you to them, Edward, by the names of the characters they
will be playing.  You don't need to know their real names."  He beckoned to
Daniel, who seemed to be the only one remotely enjoying this little sojourn.
Daniel was wearing his usual attire.  Baggy jeans, sneakers, a denim jacket
over a black t-shirt, his hair was scruffy and his eyes looked wild.  Lestat
suspected that he may have taken a couple of drugged extras in the lot out
the back.

"Hey man!" Daniel drawled, putting on an overdone Southern Accent.

"And just who is this?" Edward snapped back, looking at Lestat for some sort
of recognition.

"This is who will be playing Daniel.  He is the one who gets made into a
vampire, part way through the movie.  He was the drunk."

"He looks like he still is, Lestat.  What are you playing at?
This...this...person in front of me is totally inappropriate to play
Daniel."

"Rubbish!" answered Lestat, and waved Daniel away momentarily, telling him
in no uncertain terms to clean up his act.

Lestat then went over to Armand and grabbing him on the arm literally pulled
him over to meet Edward.  "This is Armand." Lestat said proudly.  Armand
looked like a sullen schoolboy in his black pants and turtle neck jumper.
His hair was woolly and wild and hung about his face like a cascading
waterfall.    His dark brown eyes peeked out from his white face, and his
full bottom lip was in a perky pout.

"This...this kid, looks about 15.  He's too young.  We'd have the child
protection people on our back.  Especially with the sex scenes you have him
down to do."

"Sex scenes.?" Daniel piped up.  "You have Armand down to do a sex
scene...with me I hope."

"No I'm going to have you fucking Louis..." Lestat snapped at him, then
wished he hadn't made his little joke, when he saw the lascivious leer that
Daniel was giving his fledgling.  Lestat shouted into Daniel's brain, to
stop thinking about Louis in that way, and had him reeling in pain.

"I'm older than 15." Armand finally said, in a strong voice.

"Well you don't look it." Edward replied.

Armand stepped up to Edward then, and went to put his hands around his
throat, but Lestat stopped him just in time.

"Armand, leave it."

Armand growled at Lestat, gave Edward a withering glare and stepped back to
stand beside his still leering fledgling.  Armand squeezed Daniel's arm so
tightly that he cried out in pain.

Lestat laughed, then went over to pull Louis from the little group that
seemed to be huddled together for protection.  Louis looked belligerent, and
his pout was even bigger than Armand's.

"Lestat, I don't know how you conned me into coming here, but I am *NOT*
going to act in this stupid movie.  Do you understand me." He was speaking
through clenched teeth and Lestat could hardly understand a word he said.
Lestat simply nodded, smiled at him, then introduced him to Edward.

"This is Louis, my lover." Lestat said proudly.

"But I thought Akasha was your lover in the movie, Peter."

"Wha...oh..oui...Akasha.  No I meant, my real life lover.  Although Louis
and I do have a very torrid love scene right near the beginning of the
movie, and another one at the end."

Louis was livid, and blushing bright red when Lestat mentioned the love
scenes, and kicked Lestat in the shins.  "Merde! Louis.  What the hell do
you think you are doing?  That hurt."

"Good!"

Edward was smiling as he watched Louis arguing with Lestat and had risen
from his chair.  "Now this one I like...I think he would make a very good
Louis.  How did you get an actor that looks so like Louis' description in
the script?"

"It wasn't too difficult." Lestat answered, grinning at him.

4:

Louis was slumped in a morose heap on the couch, channel surfing on the
T.V., his feet twitching and his free hand constantly running through his
hair.  He finally found something he wanted to watch, a documentary on Art
Galleries of the World, when Lestat sat on the floor in front of him
obstructing his view.

"Lestat, I was watching that..." he moaned.

"Louis, we need to talk."

"I don't want to talk."

"Why?"

"Because I know what you are going to talk about and I won't have you
talking me into being in your stupid movie."

"But Louis!!"

"Don't but Louis me...I am not going to be an actor, I never wanted to be an
actor, and I am certainly not going to do *those* scenes."

"Well I will just have to find someone else to do them with." Lestat grumped
at him, and flounced out of the room in a mock show of temper.

Louis' eyes went back to the screen momentarily, until his brain registered
what Lestat had  said.  He leapt off the couch and ran straight into Lestat
who was standing just around the corner with a huge grin on his face.

"Have you changed your mind?." He said smirking.

"No...I...um...I just wondered who you were going to get to play those
scenes, Lestat?  That's all."

"I have someone in mind, Louis.  Why would you want to know anyway?  I
thought you weren't interested in doing this 'stupid' movie."

"I'm not...it's just that...  Dam you, Lestat.  I just wondered that's all.
It doesn't matter."

"Well I thought I might ask Santino.  He's got dark hair like you, and with
green contact lenses."

"SANTINO!!   You've got to be joking.  He's nothing like me, nothing at all.
He wouldn't be right...and besides he wouldn't want to do those scenes with
you any more than I do."

"And what makes you so sure, Louis?"

"He just wouldn't that's all."

"Well he's not the only one I have in mind, Louis.  Just for your
information I was thinking of asking Brad Pitt to do it.  After all he
played you in the first movie."

"Hmmmmmph!" Louis grumbled and turned and walked away from Lestat, leaving
him with a bemused look on his face.  He knew he had won, he knew that Louis
wouldn't let him act in the movie with anyone else but himself.  He called
out to him that he was going out.  Louis didn't answer.   Lestat was happy
as he walked down the street, as he contemplated how he was going to talk
Louis into stripping in front of the cameras.  Now *that* was going to be a
challenge.

.................

The cast and crew are assembled for their first day of shooting.......

Lestat was so hyped that no-one could understand him.  He was barking orders
to everyone, scaring the floor crew half to death, and amusing the hell out
of the other vampires.  They were all under strict instructions not to,
under any circumstances, kill any of the crew or the mortal actors.  Lestat
had decided that no-one in the coven was suitable to play Akasha, so he had
chosen a beautiful mortal.  She was a complete unknown, someone Lestat had
picked up in a night club three nights ago.  She had the etheral beauty of
Akasha, dark eyes, long lustrous hair and a figure to die for.

But the first scene was to be his and Louis' reunion, not long after he had
risen from his sleep and taken up with his young band members.  Of course
Louis was no where to be seen, and Lestat was beginning to become extremely
irritated.

"Where the hell is he?' he shouted out to anyone who cared to listen.

"He's still in his dressing room." replied Marius.  "Do you want me to go
and get him for you?"

"No, I'll go." Lestat replied and he stormed off, leaving everyone behind
breathing a huge sigh of relief.  Peace had fallen on the studio finally,
and with the blonde whirlwind gone they were all able to check their
equipment and get organised.

Lestat found Louis sitting in the corner of his trailer reading a book and
dressed in his daggiest clothes.

"Louis, we are all waiting for you."

"I'm not ready, Lestat." he replied.

"Oh yes you are. Those clothes are perfect, just like the clothes you were
wearing the night we found each other again."  Lestat hesitated for a couple
of seconds. "Come to think of it, Louis.  I think they might just be the
exact same clothes you *were* wearing."

Louis glared.

5:
That Scene:-

The studio was quiet, and the cameras were whirring away as Louis made his
entrance, walking slowly up to the door of the house.  He knew his lines,
remembering what to say was never going to be a problem.  It was what Lestat
wanted him to do that was the problem.  He was trembling as he reached the
door and his maker opened it.

"Where's the black cape and the "finely tailored" black coat and the silk
tie and all that foolishness?" He said.

They eyed each other silently.

"Can't always be the living legend." Louis replied.

They fell into each other's arms, caressing and cuddling, then Lestat
pressed his lips to Louis' and gave him a lingering kiss.  Louis' body
tensed for a second, but he soon allowed himself to be drawn in.  They
pulled apart and looked at each other again.

"I thought you were dead and gone you know." Louis said.

"Well I'm not Louis, and I've missed you.  Come inside I want to talk to
you."

Louis followed Lestat slowly into the house and up the stairs to the
bedroom.

"Cut!" The Director called..."We have to set the cameras up in the bedroom."

Louis let out a long sigh and slumped down onto the bed.  He hadn't realised
how nervous he was and as the make-up lady lathered him with more foundation
and brushed his hair, he tried to still his shaking.  How was he going to go
through with what Lestat wanted him to do in front of everyone?  Why was he
doing it?  He realised that he wished he was anywhere but where he was and
stood up, ready to make a bolt for it, when Lestat grabbed him on the arm.

"Easy, Louis.  You're not going anywhere now, not when we are nearly ready
to go on this scene.  Now just relax.  I have asked everyone except the
camera and sound men to leave.  It's what they call a 'closed studio'.
There's nothing to be worried about.  Just take my lead and you will do
fine."

The lighting was right, the cameraman was ready, in fact everyone was ready
except poor Louis who was fidgeting nervously as the Director called
"Action."

Lestat walked around the end of the bed, eyeing Louis up and down, then  sat
down next to him resting his hand on his knee.  Louis flinched.

"CUT!"

"Louis, relax, please.  I'm not going to bite,  well not yet anyway...maybe
later." He whispered to him, nibbling him on the ear.

"Are you ready, Louis?"  The Director asked him.

"Oui!" He replied, but he wasn't too sure.

"Action!"

"Louis I've missed you so much.  How did you know where to find me?'

"Well, it wasn't hard.  I saw you driving up and down my street, I thought
you were advertising for me to come and find you."

"You didn't have to come, you know."

"I missed you too, Lestat.  I've been terribly lonely without you." Louis
replied, putting his arm tentatively around Lestat's shoulders.  Lestat
could feel him trembling, so he pulled him in tightly, trying to still his
shaking.

Gently he laid Louis down onto the bed, and laid beside him, running his
hand up and down his chest underneath his jumper.  He tweaked Louis' nipple
making him squirm.  He could see him blushing bright red, even under all the
make-up he was wearing.

He leant over and kissed him on the lips, forcing them apart, delving into
his mouth with his tongue, scraping it on his fangs, and letting his blood
dribble down his throat.  Louis swooned as he tasted the blood and Lestat
could feel him relaxing just a little under his touch.  His trembling was
slowing.

He began to pull Louis' jumper slowly up over his head.  Louis tensed again,
so Lestat let him have a taste of a little more blood.  It was like a swig
of brandy, warming and calming him at the same time.  Lestat stripped off
his own jacket and shirt, slipped off his shoes and pants, then began to
slowly unzip Louis' fly.

Louis' hand unconsciously grabbed Lestat's, trying to stop him from doing
what it was trying so desperately to do, but Lestat was stronger.  He
unzipped it and slipped his hand inside, feeling the hardness and heat on
his fingers.  Louis let out a little cry of distress, but to all the crew it
sounded exactly like a cry of ecstasy.

"You are doing so well, Louis." Lestat whispered into his ear.

"No I'm not!" Louis growled back, so softly that no-one but Lestat could
hear.

Lestat moved his body on top of Louis', rubbing himself up and down his
torso, trailing wet kisses from nipple to nipple, revelling in the feel of
them hardening, luxuriating in the feel of Louis squirming underneath him.
Louis was trying to make him stop, but from the camera angle it certainly
looked as though he was doing an expert job of acting like he was in the
throes of passion.

Lestat began to pull Louis' trousers down, inch by delectable inch,
revealing his manhood to the whole crew.  Louis tried to push Lestat off,
but he wouldn't budge.  The cool air touched his private parts and he
shivered.  He heard a collective sigh from the crew..

"Dam you, Lestat!" Louis snarled into his ear, biting on his earlobe and
drawing blood.

Lestat flinched, swung his head around, and bit hard into Louis' jugular,
taking in strong gulps of his precious blood.  Louis moaned loudly as he
began to sink into a swoon of monumental proportions, forgetting totally
about the fact that Lestat had just stripped him naked in front of ten
strangers.

Lestat now had Louis at his mercy, and with precise movements, edged his
thighs apart.  The cameraman on close-up was sweating, and his hands were
trembling as he honed in on the actors.  He realised for the first time that
they didn't have body suits on, nor did they have little sacks hiding their
private parts.  This was the closest he would get to filming hard core porn.
He didn't know if his nerves would handle it, or if his cock, that was
working overtime would make the distance. He held onto himself with one hand
as he filmed.

Louis was completely oblivious to the whirring camera right over Lestat's
backside, as Lestat spread his thighs further, and with his strong hands
lifted his hips up and entered his heated body, deeply and with strong
thrusts.  Louis undulated with Lestat's rhythm and moaned louder and louder
as he was violated.

The cameraman lost it completely, coming in his trousers, dropping his
camera and falling onto the bed squashing them both with all his equipment.

"CUT!"

6:

Armand and Daniel were giggling so hard that it they had been mortals they
would have wet their pants.   Lestat was beginning to get angry with them.

"Shut up you two.  That stupid cameraman spoilt a perfectly good scene."

"I'm surprised you didn't have him for supper." Daniel spurted out, in
between guffaws.

"What I want to know is how you two managed to be in the studio when we were
filming that scene?" Lestat said to them.

They both tried to wipe the smiles from their faces, but it didn't work, all
they managed to do was to smear blood across them. Lestat began to giggle as
well when he saw the state they were in and Daniel by now was doubled over
in his mirth.

"I'm sorry, Lestat." Armand began, desperately trying to be serious.  "You
didn't really expect us not to want to watch you seducing Louis in front of
all these mortals.  You did the most amazing job.  I think the entire crew
were in the throws of orgasms when the cameraman lost it."

"I know they were." Lestat replied.  "I was reading their minds, the dirty
perverts."

"Well what do you expect.  You were glorious and Louis was...well Louis was
just so...delicious." Daniel said, a glazed looked coming across his face.

"OUCH!  What was that for?" Daniel cried out, as Armand's hand came down
against his backside, twice.

"For being a lech."

"Oh, and you were having a nice perve on Lestat's bum?" Daniel replied
indignantly.

"Shut-up you two.  I have to find Louis.  I don't know where he got to when
he ran off like he did.  I've never seen him move so fast, especially with
his trousers down around his ankles."  Lestat mused with a sly grin on his
face.

"I hope he didn't hurt himself when he fell down the stairs outside." Armand
said.  "I ran to see if he was all right, but by the time I got to the door
he was gone."

"Well we have to find him and shoot the scene again."

"Yeah, fat chance of that." Daniel said, smirking.

.................

Louis was nowhere to be found on the set.  Lestat was worried, but the show
must go on, so they say, and all the crew were waiting to film the next
scene.

Lestat was to strut his stuff as a rock star, and the musicians were
rehearsing.  The extras were assembling as well, all five thousand of them,
some dressed as mortals, dressed as vampires, others were dressed as real
vampires.   It was all a bit confusing to the real vampires.  Jesse was very
glad that her tragic scene was not going to come for a few days, she was
stressing about it.  Maharet had refused point blank to act in the movie, so
Pandora was taking her place.

Lestat was stressing as well.  He wanted to include the little scene with he
and Louis kissing before the concert, but he still had not been found.  It
was too late, he had to go on stage.  He searched the audience, but he knew
Louis wasn't there.  He knew that he would probably have found himself a
little room somewhere and would be hiding out.  He wondered if he would ever
be able to face his friends again.

His cue...the Director raised his hand...the band began to play...  Lestat
raised his voice and began to sing...

I AM THE VAMPIRE LESTAT,
YOU ARE HERE FOR THE GRAND SABBAT
BUT I PITY YOU YOUR LOT.

YOU CAN'T RESIST THE LORDS OF NIGHT
THEY HAVE NO MERCY ON YOUR PLIGHT
IN YOUR FEAR THEY TAKE DELIGHT

He pranced and shouted and sang and danced...he sweated and preened and
delighted in being centre stage again.  Louis for the moment was
forgotten...it was just him, the adulation of the crowd and the cameras.

Lestat eyed the audience.  He could see Armand and Daniel together, and
Jesse watching him intently.  He had cut the part where she leapt up on
stage and kissed him out of the movie, and she was pissed off at him.  He
winked at her and she sneered back at him.  He blew her a kiss, and she gave
him the rude finger.

He laughed.

7:

"Stay away Jesse.  I am not putting you into that scene." Lestat growled at
her, as she followed him about the set like a little puppy dog.

"But Lestat, why?  I think the movie should be like it really happened.
Don't you?"

"No I don't.  Did you read the original screenplay for the movie.  *We* were
supposed to have an affair.  I mean how stupid is that.  It's Louis I love,
its Louis I want to fuck, not you.  No offence Jesse.  Its not that I don't
like you or anything."

"Well it certainly sounds like it, Lestat.  I think you are being mean.
Besides, I know where Louis is right now."

"You what?"

"He's hiding out and I know where he is.  I will tell you if you let me have
a bigger part in the movie."

"Are you blackmailing me, Jesse?" Lestat glared at her through gritted
teeth.  "If you really know where Louis is I can get it from your mind, you
little bitch."

Jesse looked afraid for a second or two, then smiled.  "Maharet taught me
well, Lestat.  I know how to shield as well as she does.  You will never get
it out of me."

Lestat lunged for her and made a grab for her throat, squeezing hard.
"Maharet will also have you put back in chains, Lestat, if you hurt a hair
on my head." she squeaked, as he increased the pressure.

He stopped and glared into her green eyes.  "You are very pretty, Jesse, but
I don't like being threatened."

"I don't either, Lestat.  Now let go of me."

Lestat took his hands away from her throat and stepped back.  "Do you really
know where Louis is?"

"Yes!  But I will only tell you if you write my part back into the script."
she snarled at him.

"Ok, I'll have a talk with Edward.  Now will you tell me where he is."

"Do you promise, Lestat? Because if you go back on your word I will tell
Maharet and she will...."

"She'll what, Jesse? Have me put back in chains. I don't think so. But my
word is my word.   Now where is he?"

........................................

Lestat was surprised.  He expected Louis to be skulking about in some
mausoleum somewhere, or perhaps a cheap hovel.  But no, here he was in a
very plush uptown Hotel.  He knocked at the door. He could have just walked
in of course, but he knew Louis was already angry with him, and he didn't
want to make it any worse.

Louis came to the door dressed in one of the hotel's towelling dressing
gowns barefoot and with soaking wet hair.  He had obviously just stepped out
of the shower.

"Lestat.  I wondered how long it would be before you found me.?  Come in."

"Louis...are you OK?"

"Oui!"

Lestat grabbed his arm and spun him around to face him.  "Really, Louis.  I
mean you did a great job back there.  Why did you have to run out of me like
that?"

"Why do you think?"

Lestat looked honestly stumped and shook his lowered his head.  "I don't
know, Louis.  We were just acting a scene in the movie."

"Some scene, Lestat.  You told me we would be under the covers the whole
time.  You told me that we wouldn't actually *do* anything.  You told me you
would let me stop you if I felt uncomfortable.  You lied, Lestat.  You
bastard.  I was so embarrassed.  I will never be able to look any one of the
coven in the eye again."

"Louis....I'm sorry.  I just wanted it to be realistic."

"You raped me, Lestat.  That's what it amounts to, doesn't it.  I will never
forgive you."

"Louis, how can you say that.  You enjoyed it, honestly, didn't you?"

Louis pouted and turned his back on him.  "Sort of..." he mumbled.

"What was that?"

Louis turned back to face him. "Sort of.  I'm sorry.  You didn't rape me, I
did enjoy it...but it was just that everyone was watching... How could you?"

Lestat reached over to him and kissed him on the lips.  "I'll cut it out of
the movie, Louis.  Is that OK?" He said this with his fingers crossed behind
his back.  "Will you come back and watch the rest of the filming?  I need
you there, I want your support."

Louis nodded in acquiesence.

"Oh, there's just one thing though, Louis."

"Oui!"

"I kinda promised Jesse something."

"Jesse?  What did you promise her, Lestat."

"That I would do a love scene with her."

Louis growled and punched him hard in the face.

8:

"I don't want to watch this, Lestat." Louis grumbled as Lestat led him into
the studio to watch Armand and Daniel do one of their scenes.

"But Louis, it will be fun, I promise."

"I know what your promises are like, Lestat, but seeing as how you have hold
of me so tightly, and I don't suppose you are going to let me go, I might as
well stay.  Satisfied?"

"Satisfied!" Lestat answered with a smirk on his face, then he squeezed
Louis' hand even tighter.

"Come, you can sit next to me while I direct this scene."

"ACTION!"

Louis watched as a young mortal boy about 18 years old walked into the
bedroom, hand in hand with Daniel.  He appeared quite nervous and Louis
wasn't at all surprised.  Armand was sitting in the corner of the room, in
partial darkness,  his white features shining out like a beacon.  Daniel was
talking to the boy softly, then kissing him on the cheek, the neck then
nibbling his ear lobe.   The boy was moaning.

Daniel didn't even seem aware of the cameras as he began to slowly strip the
boy, clutching onto his buttocks and squeezing, rubbing his still clothed
body against his, and smiling as the boy nearly buckled at the knees.
Daniel's hand came down between the boy's legs then pulled it back startled
as he realised that he was wearing a body suit covering his private parts.

"What's this?" Daniel shouted out to Lestat.  'How can I get into the mood
when I can't even touch him properly?"

"CUT!"

Lestat called Daniel over to him and whispered in his ear.  Daniel smiled,
gave Lestat a high five, then went back to the scene.  Louis then heard a
very loud rip, as Daniel tore away the offending body suit and began to
fondle the boy's now erect organ.  The boy seemed a little confused at
first, then began to relax as Daniel pushed him back down on the bed,
stripping himself quickly as he did so.  He was kissing him roughly, then
trailing kisses down the length of his body, ending with his head between
the boy's legs suckling on him heartily.

"I didn't know we were doing  porn movie, Lestat?" Louis said quietly to
him.

"Ssshhh!! Louis.  Here comes the good part."

Armand rose up slowly from his vantage point, and Louis realised that he was
now completely naked. He climbed up onto the bed with Daniel and the boy and
leaning over Daniel's backside, began to caress him, squeezing his backside
and bringing his hands around to work Daniel's throbbing organ.   Their
moaning was becoming louder, as the boy squirmed and wriggled, as Daniel
sucked even harder, as Armand began to enter Daniel's fevered body.

Louis watched in awe as Armand took his fledgling in long deep thrusts and
as Daniel slithered his way up to the boy's neck and sank his fangs in.

'LESTAT!!  You had better call cut, or the poor boy won't survive." Louis
whispered frantically into Lestat's ear.

"Just a couple more seconds, Louis.  I want to have them climax together for
the camera. "

As the vampire's sounds of passion began to rise to a crescendo, Lestat
stood up, suddenly looking agitated.  Louis looked to him for an answer.
"What's the matter?"

"Merde!" Lestat shouted out loud.

"CUT!"

The action continued, the cameraman looked over to Lestat, who didn't seem
to know what to do, then turned back again.  The camera continued to whirr,
the bodies on the bed continued to squirm.

"CUT!"  Lestat shouted again, and this time the cameraman stopped his camera
and looked about him again in confusion.

The vampires still continued their thrusting and lustful lovemaking.  Lestat
walked over to the bed in quick strides and flung Armand off of Daniel's
blood sweat drenched body, then slapped Daniel really hard across the
backside.  He didn't flinch.  Lestat then straddled Daniel's backside and
grabbing his shoulders yanked him off the mortal boy who was lying
unconscious on the bed.

"What the fuck?" Daniel cried.

"Daniel.  What did I say earlier?" he snarled into Daniel's ear as he held
him firmly around the chest.

"I dunno, Lestat.  What did you do that for?"

"Look at the boy, Daniel.  Look familiar?"

Daniel looked down at the boy, at his golden curls swishing around his
angelic face, at his body covered in bruises and blood.  He  brought his
hand down to the bite marks on his neck, then felt for a pulse.  There was
none.

"He's dead." Daniel said, with surprise in his voice.

"That's right Daniel, now what are we going to do?"

"Get rid of the body?"

Lestat growled and threw him down onto the bed, face down on the boy's body.
"You fool.  You couldn't control yourself could you.  I ought to thrash that
pretty white backside of yours in front of all the crew.  In fact...."
Lestat seemed to be contemplating adding that to the movie, when Armand came
up to him putting his hand on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Lestat.  It was just as much my fault.  I should have controlled
him better than that."

"Perhaps its your backside I should thrash then." he answered quickly.

"No...I don't think so...but if you want to thrash Daniel I won't stop you."
he said sweetly, handing Lestat a belt.

'ACTION!"  Lestat shouted, and the cameras rolled as Daniel's bottom was
warmed up superbly by Lestat's strong arm.

9:

It was funny how Daniel didn't sit down for the rest of the night's filming.
It was even funnier how he kept glaring at Armand, who was grinning from ear
to ear.  "That wasn't funny." Daniel growled.

"Oh but it was very sexy." Armand replied, patting Daniel's sore backside.

"OUCH!"  He cried in pain.  "I'll get you, Armand."

"Is that a promise?"

"Oh its a promise, all right." Daniel replied.  "But first I want to have a
look at Lestat's scene with Jesse."

They were going to splice in the little scene where Jesse leapt up onto the
stage and gave Lestat a big kiss.  Jesse was excited, she had thought about
that kiss, the real kiss, so many times.  He had turned her on so
completely, but he had been totally unaware of how she felt.  Even the short
time they spent at the Night Island after the whole fiasco was over, Lestat
had almost ignored her.  Now she was going to make him notice her.

Lestat was in a grumpy mood, which did not bode well for the crew.  He
barked orders at them constantly, making them jittery and clumsy.    He
didn't feel like kissing Jesse on stage, all he wanted to do was to get this
goddamn movie finished and go on a holiday.

Edward took over the role of Director in Lestat's scenes, and he and Louis
were the only ones not overwhelmed by Lestat's temper tantrums.  Louis
almost seemed to be enjoying the chaos, he had a tiny smile on his normally
placid face, as he sat down quietly next to Edward to watch the scene.

"ACTION!"

Lestat began miming his lyrics again, as the cameras panned across the
stage.  The audience were no longer there, but with computer technology, it
would look as if he were performing to them.  He flung his elegant cape back
off his shoulders and leered at the cameraman, the blood sweat pouring down
the side of his face.
He was particularly hot, hotter than he had been the first time he did the
Rock concert scene.  He felt almost faint but shook off the sensation.   He
didn't faint.

He gyrated his hips lecherously, flung his arms in the air, shook his hair
wildly.  Jesse jumped up onto the stage and ran at him.  His intention was
to make this quick and get it over and done with.  Her intentions however
were considerably different.

Little did Lestat know, but earlier in the evening, when he had gone out to
feed, she had put her little plan into action.  Jesse was powerful, more
powerful than Lestat realised,  and with a little surreptitious mind control
she had made Lestat drink from an extremely heavily drugged mortal by
leading him straight to the victim.  Jesse was pleased when she saw how hot
Lestat seemed now, extremely hot indeed.  The drugs were working within his
system, weakening him slightly, just enough for her to....

Lestat saw Jesse coming towards him, and he smiled.  A false smile for the
cameras.  Jesse leapt at him, Lestat involuntarily stepped back.  Big
mistake...he tripped over a power lead on the stage and as he began to fall
backwards, Jesse grabbed him around the neck, sunk her fangs in with
lightening speed and began to drink from him.

Lestat shuddered and surprised by the attack  tried to push her off.  But he
was weakened by the drugs, and flat on his back.  Jesse drank with gusto,
weakening him even further.

Edward was on his feet, ready to call cut, but Louis stepped up and stopped
him.  "No, this is interesting, Edward.  Let her go.  Keep the cameras
rolling.  I like to see Lestat being taken advantage of for a change."
Louis said with a wry and knowing grin on his face.  Edward smiled back.

They settled down on their Director's chairs to watch the show.

Lestat squirmed and writhed as Jesse drank deeply from him, then when she
had had her fill and Lestat was a limp body underneath her, she began to
kiss him deeply.   He moaned as she probed her tongue into his mouth, then
he let out a little cry of distress as she unzipped his fly and began to
work him hard.

Louis was laughing out loud, as he enjoyed Lestat's humiliation.  He didn't
want to be around however, when Lestat finally regained his strength.  He
just hoped that Jesse had an escape plan formulated.  He was wondering about
this when he became aware of an extremely powerful presence in the room.
Slowly he turned around.

In the dim light at the back of the studio he could make out a small figure,
with a slim waist and long hair.  Maharet.  Ah!  Thought Louis to himself.
The escape plan....

10:

"Well done, Jesse." Louis said to her as they flew with Maharet to an
arranged hiding place.  Jesse winked at him as she held him tightly.  Louis
was a little nervous about flying, but he would have been more nervous if he
had stayed for the aftermath of Lestat's humiliation.

Jesse set Louis down gently on the balcony to their room, and the three of
them stepped inside.  Maharet eyed them both suspiciously and Louis shivered
just a little.  He had only had a couple of short conversations with her
before, and she was very intimidating.

"What have you been up to Jesse?" she questioned her.

"Well...you see...it's like this." Jesse began.  "Louis wanted to get back
at Lestat for what he put him through, so I offered to help.  We kind of set
him up..."

"Oh my!" Maharet replied shaking her head thoughtfully.  "What are we going
to do?"

"Lestat will calm down eventually." Louis piped in.  "I'll sort him out...he
might be angry with me for a while...but"

Maharet raised her hand..."Louis, I don't want you getting hurt.  Perhaps I
should come with you to visit him."

"No...honestly...I can handle him.   I have made him angrier than this
before.  Anyway, I think for the time being he is angry at Jesse, not me."

"Hmmmm, that's what I am afraid of.  If he hurts my Jesse, he will have me
to answer to." She exclaimed.

"I think he's aware of that, Aunty." Jesse said with a wicked grin on her
face.

"Jesse, you are incorrigible."

..................

Lestat lay on the floor for a few minutes after Jesse had been whisked away
by Maharet.  He was drained, exhausted, angry and embarrassed.  More
embarrassed by the fact that he had literally been raped by a fledgling
female, than the fact  the whole crew had seen him in such a precarious
position.

He tidied himself up and crawled to his knees.  No-one came near him, in
fact when he looked about him the only people in the vicinity were Armand
and Daniel standing in a dark corner shaking with hysterical laughter.

He growled, a low rumbling growl, that sounded like a bear about to kill its
prey.  Daniel and Armand fled as quickly as they could, knocking over
microphone stands, and tripping on the wires.  If Lestat hadn't been so
livid he might have laughed at them.

What to do? He mumbled to himself.  Revenge... he wondered.  Not with
Maharet in the picture.  He wondered if his sweet fledgling had had anything
to do with this.  Funny how he had disappeared with Jesse.  Louis probably
didn't realise that he had seen him go with them.

He stormed about the studio, punching holes in the walls, throwing camera
equipment out the window, and generally destroying the place.  He was just
about to smash all the computer equipment when he stopped suddenly.  What am
I doing? He thought to himself.  I've paid for all this equipment...it's
Louis and Jesse I should be throwing out of windows, and Armand and Daniel
for that matter.  How dare they laugh at me?

He left the mess behind and went into the adjacent studio where he was to
shoot his scenes of destruction with Akasha.  Most of the crew were cowering
in there.  Lestat straightened himself up, put on his most controlled
expression and walked into the studio calmly.

He was boiling inside, but to everyone else he was the picture of control.
He was however in the perfect mood for this scene now.  Let me bellow, let
me kill the mortals, he thought.  Even if its just for the movie, it will
make me feel better.

The beautiful young actress who was playing Akasha came up to him and
smiled.  She was delicious, he thought to himself, with her dark eyes, long
black hair, and those breasts...perfect!  He took her over to Edward and
told him they were ready to shoot the scene in the temple where the carnage
began.  About three or four dozen young men and women, in skimpy clothing
were already on the set, the men practising their death throes, the women
their wailing.  It was a cacophony of chaotic sounds, but it took Lestat's
mind off his anger.

There was just one thing he needed to do first.  Have a good feed, he didn't
want to be responsible for killing any more mortals.  He would never be able
to look Daniel in the eye if *he* lost control while acting out his scenes.
He excused himself politely, and left quietly, leaving everyone behind him
confused and even more worried than usual.    Edward whispered to the
production manager  "Something is brewing, I can feel it in the air.  Lestat
should be seething after what that Jesse woman did to him, but he seems to
be unfazed by it."

Armand came up to Edward and placed his hand on his shoulder.  Edward jumped
nearly a foot in the air as he spun around to face him.   "Sorry to startle
you, Edward." Armand said slyly.

" I think you might be right though.  I can tell that Lestat is very angry,
I would be wary if I were you."

Edward shuddered.

Meanwhile Lestat was on the prowl for some much needed sustenance.  He still
felt a little wobbly on his legs, and the lot was spinning around
precariously.  He grabbed onto his head.  "Dammit" he cursed out loud.
"What the hell did that bitch do to me?"

He grabbed onto the wall as his world spun about him, feeling arms about
him, lifting him up, holding him against the wall.

"Just a little pay back, Lestat." Louis whispered into his ear.

11:

Somehow Lestat found the strength to grab Louis by his hair and drag him
roughly to his trailer.  He flung him onto the bed, then straddled him,
holding his arms above his head.  Louis was panting hard, as he realised
that he had made a terrible mistake in returning to the scene of the crime
so quickly.

"Where's the bitch?" Lestat spat at him.

"She's not a bitch, she's my..." Lestat cut him off with a searing kiss.

Louis sputtered and coughed as he came up for air.  "...friend."

"Oh, a friend is she...a friend who will humiliate your lover, is she?"

"She was just helping me, Lestat.  Don't be angry with her, it was all my
idea."  Louis continued to stutter and cough.

"Are you telling me the truth?" Lestat growled, still holding his squirming
fledgling securely.

"You know how to find that out, Lestat." Louis growled back, baring his
fangs.

"You asked for it." Lestat snapped as he sunk his fangs into Louis' neck
viciously, causing him to cry out in pain.  Louis quickly sunk into oblivion
as his blood coursed from his body into Lestat's hungry and revengeful
mouth.

"So you *were* telling me the truth, my deceitful one." Lestat snickered
into his ear. "Just for that, I will not keep my promise."
He rose up from Louis' prone and drained body, covered him up with a blanket
so he could sleep and regain his strength then exited the trailer, full of
vigour.

The studio fell ominously quiet as he re-entered and he smiled maliciously
as them all.  He laughed when he heard a couple of them swear and he turned
to them, causing them to lose complete control.  He watched the wet patch
appearing in their trousers and the flush of embarrassment appearing on
their faces.

He had the make-up lady touch up his sweat streaked face with powder and
eyeliner, then called out to Edward to 'get on with the show.'

"Action!" Edward shouted feebly.

"You can do better than that." Lestat shouted back at him.

"ACTION!" He shouted again.

The mortal who was playing the part of Azim, appeared on the stage, his eyes
painted black, his skin painted white, and droplets of stage blood
splattered all over his body.  He looked even more ferocious than the real
Azim.  Akasha was magnificent as she played the part of the seductive
murderess.

"You will die now." Akasha said, You who have misled these hopeless
innocents, you who have fed upon their lives and their blood like a bloated
leech."

The actors below in their loin cloths and painted limbs screamed.

"What right have you to condemn my worship," Azim cried.  "you who have sat
silent on your throne since the beginning of time?"

Akasha screamed at him, then stared with her black eyes, that barely showed
behind the false eyelashes and makeup.
The actor playing Azim then began to writhe about as if in pain, screaming
and flinging his arms about.  Lestat knew that the flames supposedly
consuming his body, and the explosion of his head would be added later.  He
was almost disappointed that it was not happening for real.

The actors began to scream again, then the males fell down in  agony as
Lestat's mind wandered back to when this actually happened.  He felt cold
inside.  He had betrayed her love eventually, and now Louis had betrayed
him.  Louis who was lying on the bed in his trailer, his limbs cold, his
emerald eyes shut, his breathing shallow.

Lestat completed the scene in a daze, acting out his lines almost woodenly.
Gone was his passion...he almost wished now that he hadn't decided to take
on this project.  The last of the male actors were playing dead, the women
were completing their overdone wails, and he felt spent...haggard and worn
out.  Perhaps it was the residue of the drugs that Jesse had arranged for
him to consume.  Perhaps it was the memories that were flooding his
thoughts, or perhaps it was the sight of Maharet standing at the back of the
studio glaring at him,  her red-haired fledgling standing beside her
grinning at him.

'CUT!"

He glared back at her.  How he wanted to take her prim white neck and
squeeze it until she blacked out, then have his turn with her body.

*I wouldn't even think about it, Lestat* Maharet screamed into his mind,
causing him to flinch and grab his head.

He watched in awe as Maharet floated up to where he was standing and touch
his arm.  He grabbed it away quickly, it had been like a bolt of lightning
had just sparked through his body.

"I am still more powerful than you are, Brat." she said sarcastically.
"Where is Louis?  You better not have hurt him."

Lestat for once in his life was speechless.  His draw had dropped, his eyes
had widened and not a sound came out.  He clenched his fists, swallowed a
couple of times and tried to speak again.

"No!" was all he managed.

"Are you sure?" Maharet reiterated, grabbing Lestat on the arm again.  He
flinched.

"Well...just a little bit...but he's OK now."

Maharet turned around to Jesse who was standing behind her and pulled her
close.   "Jesse, Louis is in Lestat's trailer, go and bring him here."

Lestat stood where he was, not daring to speak to Maharet, not daring to
have any more irreverent thoughts about her precious fledgling.  She stared
back, with her human eyes.  They made him shudder slightly.

Jesse came back into the studio with Louis straggling behind her.  He was
still weak from being drained and looked up sadly at Lestat.
"You tasted exceptionally nice tonight." Lestat said, sneering at him.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." Louis answered, trying to smile, but failing
dismally.

"The movie is nearly complete, Louis.  Would you care to come to a viewing
tonight?  It hasn't been properly edited yet, but I am sure you will enjoy
it."

"With pleasure, Lestat." Louis answered sweetly.   A little too sweetly for
Lestat's liking.

12:

Everyone was seated in the small theatrette.  Edward was there with his
cronies, the crew, most of the extras, and of course the important actors.
Louis and Jesse, huddled in a corner together, thankfully without Maharet,
Armand, Daniel and of course the star of the show, Lestat.

There was a buzz in the air and a palpable tension.  Louis kept glaring at
Lestat, who kept smirking back at him.  Jesse kept nudging Louis in the
ribs, and Armand and Daniel held hands, cuddled and passed around the
popcorn.

The projectionist was waiting patiently for Lestat's cue, but Lestat was
having too good a time, prancing about, signing autographs for the groupies
hanging around the doorway, and looking at himself in the mirrored doors.

"Calm down, Louis.  Lestat promised he would cut out your first scene,
didn't he?" Jesse said to him, squeezing his hand.

"Oui, he promised." Louis answered.  "But I just have this horrible feeling,
Jesse.  If he has left it in, I will...I will...."

He didn't get to finish, as Lestat had waved to the projectionist and the
movie began.

It began with a short scene  of Lestat rising from his grave, and joining
his Rock Group.  Louis began to relax.  Then he saw himself walking up
towards the house and  felt quite pleased, as he came up quite well on
camera.  The makeup had a fair bit to do with it and it was strange seeing
himself with a little colour.  Their first part flowed nicely, even his
voice sounded quite natural to him.

Then the bedroom scene began and Louis tensed considerably.  Had he cut out
*that* part...no...it was still there.   Louis felt himself shaking with
anger, the sweat was trickling down his back as he tried to edge himself out
of the aisle he was in.  Jesse went to follow, but he pushed her down onto
the seat.  "Stay here." he ordered her.  He could hear his own voice from
the speakers in the throes of passion, but he couldn't bring himself to
glance up at the screen.  He could hear snickers and sighs, as his moans
became louder.  Then he heard Lestat's chuckle, which turned into a giggle,
which turned into a full blown guffaw.

He wasn't going to make a scene, it was beneath him.  He would just refuse
to talk to Lestat, ever again.  He reached the door finally, and with a gasp
pushed it open feeling the cool night air fill his lungs.  He began to
choke, he had been fighting so hard to hold in his anger that he had been
holding his breath for the last few minutes.  He coughed, then doubling up
let it out, crying out into the night, swearing and cursing.  He slammed his
fist into the wall behind him and drew blood.  He licked it off, causing a
little tremor to run down his back.

He spun around when he heard the door bang behind him and saw Lestat
standing there.  "Just a little payback, Louis." he snickered.

"What do you mean, payback?  You started this stupid farce, Lestat.
Don't think for one minute this is over and done with..." and he stormed off
into the night.

....................

Lestat didn't actually think any more of it.  He knew Louis would calm down
eventually, he would take him some roses and tickets for an opera, perhaps
in Paris or Rome, then he would seduce him.  He began to look forward to
making it up to him.  He was going to cut the scene from the movie, he
wouldn't humiliate Louis like that.  This evening had just been the end of
the game they had been playing.  Of course he would cut out Jesse's scene as
well, couldn't have the little bitch winning, now could he.

He sauntered back into the theatrette, to the accolades of the audience and
began signing a few more autographs.  Yes life was good again, full of fun
and mischief and he would be famous, all over again.

David had turned up to watch the filming of the last couple of scenes, and
to be part of the action at the end of the movie.  He patted Lestat on the
back, saying he was actually looking forward to doing his scene.  Not like
Louis, the ungrateful little shit, Lestat thought to himself.  They went
back to Lestat's trailer for a quiet chat and maybe a nightcap afterwards.

Daniel and Armand joined them as well, and the quiet little chat soon turned
into a raucous carousing, without the alcohol.  They laughed about Louis'
over-reaction and snickered at Jesse's little trick.  Lestat had almost
forgiven the both of them.  He was in a good mood, but good moods never last
for long, something always goes wrong...doesn't it.

Daniel had gone outside for a cigarette, a habit he just couldn't seem to
leave behind in his mortal life.  Armand noticed it first.
"God, either Daniel's cigarettes are getting stronger or someone is burning
their mother-in-law"  he giggled, at his own modern joke.

"There is certainly a very strong smell of smoke, Lestat.  Perhaps we had
better check it out." David said cautiously, bringing Lestat back down to
earth.

"Merde! Lestat shouted.  I have this horrible feeling."

The three of them tumbled out of the trailer, toppling onto Daniel as they
did and knocking him to the ground.  "Shit, sorry, I didn't think my
cigarette would bother you that much." he wailed.

"Shut-up, Daniel." Armand growled, "look over there."

Sure enough there was thick black smoke billowing out of the main studio,
the one that housed the tapes and film and all the equipment.  Lestat could
see the flames licking around the doorway and tumbling out of the broken
windows.  He sunk to his knees, tears of anger in his eyes.

"I know."  He said to himself.  "Just a little payback, Louis style."

The end.
